Established on January 30, 1998, under the visionary leadership of Mr. L. C. Thakuri, Tripura Carpet Industries Pvt. Ltd. has become a respected name in Nepal’s hand-made carpet sector. The company is:

  • Regulated by the Small and Cottage Industries Office, Government of Nepal.

Our Legacy of Leadership

Mr. L. C. Thakuri

Founder of Tripura Carpet Industries, with over 45 years of experience since 1981 in designing, manufacturing, and exporting premium Tibetan carpets. Worked alongside Nepal’s leading carpet exporters to deliver world-class craftsmanship.

Mr. Dan Bahadur Chand Thakuri

With over 30 years of experience in the carpet industry, he is also an active social worker and a long-standing member of Rotary International. He served as President of the Rotary Club of Kathmandu, R.I. District 3292 (Nepal & Bhutan) during 2013/14. He is the son of Mr. L. C. Thakuri. He is the current vice president of (NCMEA) Nepal Carpet Manufacturers and Exporters Association.
